Promotion Period
The promotion commences on Monday 2 March 2026 and closes on Sunday 15 March 2026.
The winner will be drawn on Monday 16 March 2026.
Eligibility
Entry is open to NSW residents aged 18 years and over.
Each entry must nominate a senior aged 55 years or over. Only nominated seniors who are aged 55 years or over are eligible to win the prize.
Employees of the Promoter, Minto Mall retailers, contractors, agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or be nominated.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
Visit the Minto Mall website during the Promotion Period
Nominate a senior aged 55 years or over
Submit an entry explaining, in 40 words or less, why the nominated senior deserves to win
Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, late or do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.
Entries
Only one entry per person is permitted. There will be one winner only.
Prize Details
The prize consists of a cash payment of up to $500 (AUD) to be used towards the winner’s electricity bill.
Prize Conditions
The prize is valid for electricity bills only.
The prize is provided as cash back and not as a direct payment to an electricity provider.
The electricity bill must be in the nominated senior’s name and must clearly show the senior is aged 55 years or over.
The nominated senior must attend Minto Mall Centre Management in person during core trading hours to claim the prize.
The nominated senior must present:
valid government-issued photo identification (such as their divers lisence)
a current electricity bill in their name
The cash amount provided will be equal to the electricity bill total, up to a maximum of $500 (AUD).
If the electricity bill total is less than $500, the senior will receive cash equal to the bill amount only. No additional cash, credit or change will be given.
If the electricity bill total is more than $500, the senior will receive $500 cash only, and will be responsible for paying any remaining balance on their electricity bill.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and must be claimed by the nominated senior in person.
Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the details provided in their entry on Monday 16 March 2026.
The winner must respond within 21 days of initial contact. If no response is received within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
Prize Collection
The nominated senior must attend Minto Mall Centre Management in person during core trading hours to claim the prize.
The name on the electricity bill must match the name on the identification and the name provided in the winning entry.
The prize will only be awarded once eligibility and documentation have been verified. If the required identification and documentation are not provided or do not match, the Promoter reserves the right to deem the entry invalid and redraw the prize.
Publicity
By entering, the winner agrees to have their name and or image used across Minto Mall’s website, social media platforms and promotional materials for marketing and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.
General Conditions
Entrants must comply with all requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its agencies and associated companies are not responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered as a result of entering the promotion or accepting the prize.
Privacy
All entries become the property of the Promoter. Personal information will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for future marketing, unless otherwise advised. Information may be disclosed to third parties assisting with the promotion. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information.
Force Majeure
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the promotion from running as planned.
